We are very pleased to be able to offer custom-made Birkenstock sandals made to a foam cast or 3D laser scan of your feet.

The footbeds to the sandals are computer milled to your footshape to ensure the most comfortable sandals you have ever worn.

You can choose from unisex styles Arizona or Milano and ladies-only styles Gizeh or Granada.

Book an appointment for a scan and choose your style and colour and your bespoke sandals should be on your feet in five working days*.

Convenient opening hours…Need an early chiropody appointment ?

We are open late evening to 7pm on Mondays and 6pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

However we are excited to announce that early chiropody appointment bookings are now available with Jon Collins on Thursday mornings from 8am.

Physiotherapy appointments with David Fraser are available everyday from 8.30am.

We also open one Saturday a month (usually the first Saturday) but do call us to confirm.

Littlehaven Halt Crossing is Closed

The Littlehaven Halt crossing on the Rusper Road in Horsham is closed for repairs from Monday 9th January 2012. Diversions are in place and might be for up to 14 days.

The diversions either take you via Parsonage Road/North Heath Lane/ Giblets Way or Lambs Farm Road and the A264 dual carraigeway

Christmas Opening Hours & Emergency Contact Details

At Bartholomew Way Clinic, we close at 6pm on Friday 23rd of December 2011.

We open between Christmas and New Year between 9am on Wednesday 28th December and 5pm on Friday 30th December.

We return to normal hours on Tuesday the 3rd of January 2012.

During opening hours the reception phones are manned. Outside of working hours please use the contact us form to send an email… (this will be checked multiple times daily even on Christmas day!)

If you are in difficulty with your feet outside of our working hours please call this mobile number : 07765401444 to speak to Martin Jenkins our Clinic Director, who will be able to offer advice and book appointments.

A new podiatrist joins the practice

We are very pleased to announce that Jon Collins has joined the team at Bartholomew Way Clinic and at Paddocks Healthcare in Henfield.

Jon was first introduced to podiatry by his aunt who is a specialist rheumatologist in Dudley Primary Care Trust in the West Midlands.
Jon trained at the University of Brighton in the class of 2008 where he carried out 1000 hours of clinical practice in a special podiatric hospital in Eastbourne, in conjunction with several placements over the south east and London including;

Kings College London with diabetic and at risk foot care team
Princess Royal Hospital Hayward’s Heath with rheumatology specialists
Royal Sussex Brighton with Musculoskeletal and diabetic specialists.
A month in Lewisham PCT.

Since graduating from Brighton Jon has worked for a practice with clinics in south east London and Oxted, surrey where he has seen a wide array of conditions, ranging from diabetic foot conditions to sports injuries. Jon has also had experience working with Crystal Palace Youth Football Club and the Place Contemporary dance school, where he has screened children to see if their foot mechanics will cause problems in the future and has subsequently fitted them with orthotics to try and prevent the effects of poor foot mechanics and aid in injury prevention. He has also spent time in a number of gyms carrying out gait analysis and offering footwear advice to gym users in the London area.
Jon’s main areas of interest are diabetic foot care, biomechanics of the foot and lower limb, nail surgery and sports injuries.

Jon is available on Mondays and Tuesdays until February when he joins us full time.

Physiotherapy fees to change…

We are pleased to have been able to have frozen your physiotherapy consultation fees over the last five years. Our prices last increased in August 2006.

On the 1st August 2011 a one hour initial physiotherapy assessment at Bartholomew Way Clinic will increase to £55 and a 45 minute treatment appointment will increase to £35.

We want to maintain the quality of care we provide to you, and to do this have found we must increase our prices to cover what have been significant rises in our costs throughout the last five years.

We look forward to continuing to care for you into the future.
